Do I need to create an account?
No. FutbolGenea requires no registration. Your tree is created directly and shared with a link. It is automatically saved in your browser.
How many countries and teams are available?
FutbolGenea includes 500 plus first-division teams from 19 countries: Argentina, Brazil, Spain, Mexico, Paraguay, Uruguay, Colombia, Chile, Peru, Bolivia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Costa Rica, England, Germany, Italy, France, Portugal and USA.
How does the sharing link work?
Clicking Share generates a unique link valid for 7 days. Anyone with that link can view the football family tree in read-only mode, no signup required.
Can I download the tree as an image?
Yes. FutbolGenea lets you export your family tree as a high-quality PNG image with one click.
What devices does it work on?
FutbolGenea works on any device with a modern web browser: computers, tablets and mobile phones. The interface is fully responsive.
Is team data up to date?
Yes. Data is collected and updated manually by the FutbolGenea team. We cover current first divisions for each country.
How many generations can I add?
Three generations are supported: the user, their parents, and their four grandparents. Up to 7 people total in the tree.
How many clubs can each person have?
Each person in the tree can have up to 2 favorite clubs. The club colors are used to visually customize that person's node.
Is FutbolGenea free?
Yes. FutbolGenea is completely free with no paid plans and no credit card required.
